How to copy YouTube comments in 3 steps
You can copy every comment under any public YouTube video — including replies, creator-hearted comments, pinned comments, and Shorts — in under a minute. No signup, no login. Here's the exact process:
- Copy the YouTube video URL. On desktop, copy from the browser address bar (or click Share → Copy). On the mobile app, tap Share → Copy link. Works on regular videos, YouTube Shorts, and unlisted videos you have the link for.
- Paste the URL into the form on this page. No account needed — paste the link into the input field above and hit Start.
- Click "Copy" or "Download Excel". Within a few seconds you'll see every comment listed — with @mentions, hashtags, like counts, hearted-by-creator flags, pinned-comment flags, and reply threads. Hit Copy to send the list to your clipboard as plain text (great for Slack/Notion), or Download Excel for a structured spreadsheet you can analyze.
That's it. The tool reads only what's already publicly visible — no YouTube login, no API key from your side, no scraping behind authentication.
What this tool gives you (vs YouTube's native UI)
YouTube doesn't offer a "select all comments" button — and on a video with thousands of comments, manually copying each one is impossible. This tool fetches every comment in one pass and gives you the full thread in a format you can paste into Slack, Notion, Google Sheets, Excel, or your CRM.
Use cases
- Sponsored-video deliverables — when a brand asks for "all comments on the sponsored upload", deliver an Excel + screenshot in minutes.
- Creator engagement reports — count comments per channel, find your most engaged subscribers.
- Giveaway entries — capture the entry list, then run our picker.
- Sentiment analysis — paste the CSV into ChatGPT for a quick "how did the audience react?" summary.
- Academic research — bulk-copy comments across many videos for discourse analysis or NLP datasets.
What gets copied
Every public top-level comment AND every reply, with @mentions and hashtags preserved. Each row in the Excel export has: channel name, channel URL, comment text, like count, published timestamp, reply-to author, is_pinned, is_hearted_by_creator, and the comment's permanent URL.
What can't be copied
Comments hidden by the channel owner, comments auto-flagged by YouTube's spam filter, and held-for-review comments. The tool respects YouTube's moderation — we don't bypass it.

Per-video size scales with your plan. Free (no signup): up to 100 results per video. Personal: 5,000. Premium: 50,000. Business: 250,000 — see pricing for the full feature comparison and API tiers for the API-specific limits.
